The India Hot Air Ballooning Experience with Sky Waltz

Indulge in the life-style pleasure of drifting with the wind over the panorama of India.  Float over villages, forests, ancient mountain ranges, forts and palaces as the wind takes you on a journey from a unique location up in the sky.   Flights are offered daily at dawn and/or before sunset depending on the weather. 

Pickup is from your hotel is 30 to 45 minutes before sunrise or 2 ½ hours before sunset depending on the distance of your hotel from the launch-site. The launch site is established on wind direction to take you over the most interesting spots available. 

You reach the launch-site 15 to 20 minutes before take-off and watch the pre-flight preparations, watching the inflations and the prepping up.  Tea/coffee and cookies are available at the launch-site.  Smoking and the use of mobile phones are not permitted on the balloon-site and during the flight due to safety reasons.

After you are helped into the basket, it sways a little as the pilot releases the ropes that hold the balloon to the ground, there is a sudden flare of flames above, and you are up, up and away !  The flight is for about 60 minutes (at Ranthambhore 1 hour 15 minutes)  (+/- 10 minutes).  We do recommend carrying your camera as a hot-air balloon is the most stable platform for aerial photography and you are bound to float over sights that catch your fancy.  Mineral water is available on the flight.

Sky Waltz hot-air ballooning constitutes world-class equipment, licensed commercial pilots and experienced technical crew.  Sky Waltz implicitly follows all international security and maintenance norms and our men, passengers and equipment are comprehensively insured by Allianz as per global aviation norms. 

We offer a full-refund (or an option to fly on the next available flight) should the flight be cancelled due to weather, something not available with many ballooning companies world-wide. Dress Code is preferably sport-shoes and trousers.  We urge all passengers not to offer any money or gifts to locals before or after the flight to preserve the freshness of the experience for others.
